Description: Join us for a free 90-minue Community Healing Yoga Class at Remainders, as we honor the one-year anniversary of the Altadena Fires. This class will include guided meditation and breathwork, as well as a gentle, beginner-friendly flow focused on grounding and collective healing. Together, we’ll move, meditate, and create space for restoration and community connection. All are welcome, no experience needed. Bring a mat and beach towel if you have one, and come as you are.

What to Bring: A yoga mat, beach towel, water, and comfy clothes. All other painting materials provided.
What to Expect: Foundational postures & alignment cues; Breath awareness, meditation, and relaxation; Modifications for all bodies and experience levels.
Instructors:
Jennifer Hafner is the founder of One Yama Llama, a yoga and wellness initiative rooted in mindful movement, creative reuse, and community connection. She completed her RYT 200 at Pasadena City College and brings over a decade of personal practice and a background in inclusive community art programming. Her style is welcoming, accessible, and designed to support emotional well-being, body awareness, and self-discovery—especially for beginners. https://oneyamallama.weebly.com
Brandon Walls is a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200) who believes yoga is a lifestyle that can be followed on and off the mat. He teaches a full integration of the philosophical principles of yoga alongside the physical postures to help his students find strength, flexibility, balance, and a movement toward inner harmony and stillness. His classes are accessible to persons of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities. Brandon began practicing yoga in 2004 while living as a graduate student in Boston. He earned his yoga teaching certification from Pasadena City College and has been teaching throughout the Los Angeles area. Instagram: @brandonplaysoutside.
Location: This class will take place in the Room 7 dance studio in the back of the building next to Donations.
Class Refund Policy: Please email remainders.edu@gmail.com with your name and order number at least 48 hours before the class to receive a refund. A 20% cancellation fee applies.
Because we need time to fill vacant spots, there are no refunds with less than 48 hours notice.
