Description: Dive into the limitless possibilities of mixed media in this dynamic, hands-on class that encourages artistic experimentation and personal expression. Through the fusion of materials like paper, paint, fabric, found objects, and other unconventional tools like palette knives, you’ll learn to create layered, textural works that tell your unique story. This class is perfect for beginners looking to explore mixed media and different acrylic paint mediums or seasoned artists seeking fresh techniques.
Materials Included: All necessary tools and materials, but feel free to bring some of your own ephemera.
Instructor: Lenny is a multidisciplinary artist with a BFA in Photography and a BA in Liberal Arts from Parsons School of Design in NYC. He has collaborated with top brands like Netflix, H&M, Burt’s Bees, and the Academy of Motion Pictures, while his fine art focuses on themes of social justice and inclusivity, he is also passionate about education. He teaches art to blind and visually impaired individuals at the Braille Institute, helping students unlock their creative potential through the transformative power of art.
Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
