Thu 7/10 Slow Stitch Fabric Collage 6pm
Thurday - July 10 - 6:00-8:00pm
Ages: 12+
Description: This slow stitching class is like journaling with fabric. We will be using new and vintage fabrics, lots of trims, bits of fabric, buttons and embellishments to express ourselves. This class is about slowing down and enjoying the process of creating. Using embroidery thread to attach a picture to a square, the goal may be to eventually make an entire fabric journal.
Materials Included: All the amazingly wonderful supplies from Remainders and all necessary additional materials. Bring your own items also, if you like.
Instructor: Denise Millard recently retired from a full-time budget/accounting role in academia and now has a side hustle as a professional home organizer. Organizing energizes her and that energy shows up in her own, very diverse art projects and her vast skills as a teacher of all manners of needlework.
Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
Note: LATE ARRIVALS NOT ADMITTED ONCE CLASS HAS BEGUN
Class Refund Policy: Please email remainders.edu@gmail.com with your NAME and ORDER NUMBER at least 48 hours before the class to receive a refund. A 20% cancellation fee applies.
Because we need time to fill vacant spots, there are no refunds with less than 48 hours’ notice.
