Description: Screen Printing - Learn the fundamentals of screen printing using handmade screens constructed from upcycled fabric and embroidery hoops. This session introduces stencil-based printing and repeating imagery, while keeping the process approachable and tactile. The focus is on experimentation rather than precision, making screen printing accessible, flexible, and fun.
Materials: All materials provided.
Instructor: Jenny Lounibos is a lifelong crafter whose passion is giving new life to unwanted and discarded items. She attributes her ability to find new uses for old things to her mother, a former kindergarten teacher. As the winner of the 2023 Craftcation Iron Crafter competition, she learned that she can create under pressure, but prefers to craft as part of her mindfulness practice. Jenny always strives to create a fun and engaging environment to learn.
Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
Note: LATE ARRIVALS NOT ADMITTED ONCE CLASS HAS BEGUN
