Ages: 14+
Description: Learn new ways of “seeing” through exploring shape, line and perspective in playful ways. We will explore drawing through fun and challenging exercises, then you will combine your new skills in a final drawing, revealing your new insight and your own artistic style. This class is for people new to drawing as well as experienced drawers needing some fresh inspiration.
Materials: Pencils, paper and still life items will be provided- feel free to bring your own if desired.
Instructor: Elizabeth Robinson is a multidisciplinary artist working in textiles, printmaking, illustration and photography. She has over 20 years of experience working in art and design fields including costume, puppet and set fabrication, accessories design, tattooing and botanical illustration. Elizabeth recently moved from Portland, Oregon and loves the vibrant arts and culture of Los Angeles. Her work can be found on Instagram: @elizabeth.x.robinson and at www.elizabethxrobinson.com
Location: Upstairs in our Creative Space. Use the exterior stairs on the east side of the building to enter.
