Thu 12/4 Portrait Drawing 6pm

$30.00

Thursday - December 4 - 6:00-8:00pm

Ages: 14+

Description:  Explore the human face through shape, value and perspective. We will practice drawing through mark-making, which focuses on texture and shading versus lines. Through exercises and a final drawing, we will tap into the creative right side of the brain, overriding the logical side and resulting in authentic artistic representation. This class is for people new to drawing as well as experienced drawers needing some fresh inspiration. You can even make your own holiday cards and gifts by drawing your loved ones

Materials: Pencils, paper and other items will be provided- feel free to bring your own if desired.

Instructor: Elizabeth Robinson is a multidisciplinary artist working in textiles, printmaking, illustration and photography. She has over 20 years of experience working in art and design fields including costume, puppet and set fabrication, accessories design, tattooing and botanical illustration. Elizabeth recently moved from Portland, Oregon and loves the vibrant arts and culture of Los Angeles. Her work can be found on Instagram: @elizabeth.x.robinson and at www.elizabethxrobinson.com

Location: Upstairs in our Creative Space. Use the exterior stairs on the east side of the building to enter.

Cancellation policy: To receive a refund minus a 20% cancellation fee email your request and order number to toban@remainders.org at least 48 hours before the class. We need time to notify those on the waiting list so there is no refund if cancelled less than 48 hours.
