Description: In this class you will be learning how to measure yourself and put those measurements into a foundational template to use with store bought patterns or create your own patterns. This template can be used to make your own dress form cover. In this beginning lesson you will be creating a basic bodice pattern. Come dressed in a T-shirt or tank top. This will help in taking measurements. Measurement charts and instructions will be handed out in class.
Materials: All tools and materials included.
Instructor: Lauren Durr is a sewing mama trying to keep the machines running for the next generations. As a mom to two great kids and adopter of cats, she sews clothes because she believes in the transformational power of fashion, and by the way, she will never turn down caramel. Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
