Description: In this class students will learn how to create armatures out of wire or cardboard for lightweight paper mache sculptures that can incorporate any combination of found objects, foil wire and decorative embellishments. Make a wall piece or free standing sculpture.
Materials Included: All necessary tools and materials.
Instructor: Aspen Leavitt (he/him) is a queer and trans artist, poet, and life enthusiast based out of LA. He finds a lot of joy in transforming ordinary materials into art that makes you smile whenever you see it, and believes that art should be in every corner of our lives. Location: Upstairs in our Creative Space. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
