Sheetal Dhanapal is a Polestar Pilates certified instructor with over 400 hours of training for all apparatuses including mat and reformer. She currently teaches private sessions at Pilates of Pasadena and co-hosts donation-based yogilates classes that combine movement with community discussion in support of global healing. Having been connected to movement her entire life, through tennis and Bharatanatyam (classical Indian dance), Sheetal brings a deeply embodied understanding to her teaching. She is passionate about making movement and strength training more accessible and inclusive for all bodies while adding a touch of play and softness. After experiencing the benefits of Pilates firsthand while navigating pelvic health concerns, she approaches movement as a tool to support everyday life rather than a chore. Her teaching style emphasizes breath as a foundation for movement helping clients tap into their “soft strength” with awareness and ease.
