Description: Learn the basics of routine sewing machine maintenance, daily troubleshooting and repair. Bring your own machine and user manual. If you do not have one, please print one from online. Maintenance varies greatly between brands and models (especially regarding oiling). The manual is their ultimate authority.
Directions: Necessary tools and materials are supplied, but bring the tools and accessories that came with your machine.
Instructor: Anna Valles has been sewing since second grade. She specializes in machine garment sewing with a focus on vintage-inspired designs. For the past five years, she has taken on commission work as a side hustle, bringing custom creations to life.
Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
Note: LATE ARRIVALS NOT ADMITTED ONCE CLASS HAS BEGUN
Class Refund Policy: Please email toban@remainders.org with your name and order number at least 48 hours before the class to receive a refund. A 20% cancellation fee applies.
