Description: This class is perfect for people who know how to sew and want to learn the ins and outs of using patterns. You will learn how to read pattern directions, layout on fabric and what the language and markings on pattern pieces represent. Must have at least intermediate sewing experience. THIS CLASS IS A PREREQUISITE FOR THE UPCOMING “Sewing Construction” 6-week SERIES COMING IN JANUARY.
Materials Included: All necessary tools and materials. Feel free to bring your own woven fabric and pattern and make sure it is a simple one, so you have sufficient time to cut out.
Instructor: Megan Bright and has been sewing as a result of her grandmother’s inspiration, since 2004. She studied apparel design at university and moved to beautiful California in 2017 to pursue work in costume design. Currently, she enjoys teaching, sewing with friends, and working as an alterations specialist for red-carpet events.
Location: Upstairs in our Creative Space. Use the exterior stairs on the east side of the building to enter.
Note: LATE ARRIVALS NOT ADMITTED ONCE CLASS HAS BEGUN
