Sat 5/17 KIDS ART - Jewelry Making 3pm
Saturday - May 17 - 3:00-4:30pm
Ages: 10-17
Description: In this class, your child will be learning basic jewelry construction techniques and vocabulary. They will be provided supplies and tools to make their choice of jewelry. After this class, your child will know how to make earrings, bracelets, and necklaces independently - students may take this class as many times as they like.
Materials Included: Assortment of safe materials
Instructor: Paloma Brenek is a multidisciplinary local artist who loves working with a variety of art mediums, including but not limited to sewing, stained glass, and painting. She has extensive experience working with children and enjoys combining many different techniques and materials.
She has a background in childcare and is currently in the process of earning her Early Childhood Education Bachelor's degree and is pursuing a career in childhood arts education.
Parent Requirements: Upstairs - drop off & sign in all students; pick up and sign out all students; Parents are free to stay for the class to assist your child; parents will be called to pick up their child immediately if there is an attitude or discipline issue.
Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
Note: LATE ARRIVALS NOT ADMITTED ONCE CLASS HAS BEGUN
