Description: Young artists will explore and visually manifest the history of YOU with this self-explorative project. Taking inspiration from how The Great Wall of Los Angeles illustrates the history of California and the great city of angels, artist's will craft a multi-media piece exploring a piece of their own identity, from their family, hobbies, religion, ethnic background, and more!
Materials Included: All necessary tools and materials.
Instructor: Sarena (she/they) is an artist, yogi, and self-compassion enthusiast! She has a BFA in animation and feels a profound sense of purpose through community-centered initiatives. Her favorite way to explore creativity is through “play” where she tries to create without judgment, expectation, or rigidity. Sarena’s desire is to express herself with love & authenticity and to help others do the same – especially for the Queer and Neurodivergent community, through the wonderful world of art.
Location: Upstairs in our Creative Space. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
Note: LATE ARRIVALS NOT ADMITTED ONCE CLASS HAS BEGUN
