Description: These tiny purses or pouches are perfect for little notes, stones and charms. Using many woven fabrics and printed cottons brought from Oaxaca, we will stitch together pieces with a simple straight stitch and blanket stitch. You will love making these and an even give them away as gifts!
Materials Included: All the amazingly wonderful supplies from Remainders and all necessary additional materials. Bring your own precious items or embellishments if you like.
Instructor: Amy Elise’s mother and grandmother taught her to sew as a child. Her love for vintage textiles and trims, has helped fuel a long career in film and theater costuming. She is also a mixed media artist who loves sharing her art form and enjoys teaching.
Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
Note: LATE ARRIVALS NOT ADMITTED ONCE CLASS HAS BEGUN
