Description: Learn about the properties of fabric and their uses and proper care. Identify fabrics while shopping for fabric or clothing and be able to judge their suitability and pricing. Learn proper care for different fabrics to make your clothing last.
Materials Included: Fabric and all necessary tools.
Instructor: Koalani Walkoe is a professional costume and fashion designer who also enjoys teaching sewing to others. She started sewing at a very young age and attended FIDM to study Fashion and Costume Design. After working for 7 years in the fashion industry she transitioned to teaching introductory sewing classes to groups and private classes to individuals.
Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
Note: LATE ARRIVALS NOT ADMITTED ONCE CLASS HAS BEGUN
Class Refund Policy: Please email remainders.edu@gmail.com with your NAME and ORDER NUMBER at least 48 hours before the class to receive a refund. A 20% cancellation fee applies.
