Sun 6/28 Sand & Seashell Centerpiece 3:30pm

$30.00

Sunday - June 28 - 3:30-5:30pm

Ages: 14+

Description: Using your own clear glass hurricane vase or large jar of your choice, you will layer natural sands in soft coastal tones such as white, tan, and driftwood gray, then add tiny shells, sea glass and other interesting objects. The result is a serene and textural centerpiece that feels like a miniature coastline captured in glass.

Materials Included: Remainders may have some available, but it is best to bring your own clear glass vessel and any items you would like to use. All necessary tools and plenty of sea materials are provided.

Instructor: Megan Fisk is a lifelong maker, self-described glitter enthusiast, and proud crafter. A former Peace Corps volunteer, she holds a PhD in Organizational Communication and runs her own consulting practice, where her clients include artists and creative industry professionals. She has spent her career finding ways to bring people together around learning and making, and crafting has been a constant thread throughout all of it. At Remainders, she teaches hands-on workshops focused on seasonal home décor and projects you actually want to keep. Her classes are designed for anyone who loves making things, wants to have fun, and is willing to try something new.

Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.

Note: LATE ARRIVALS NOT ADMITTED ONCE CLASS HAS BEGUN

Class Refund Policy: Please email toban@remainders.org with your name and order number at least 48 hours before the class to receive a refund. A 20% cancellation fee applies.
Because we need time to fill vacant spots, there are no refunds with less than 48 hours notice.
