Ages: 14+
Description: Learn the basics of block printing, including: designing a print, transferring the design, block carving techniques, and printing using water-soluble ink.
Materials Included: Paper, linoleum blocks, carving tools, brayers, ink, baren/press.
Instructor: Alex Carter is a printmaker and artist who enjoys working in multiple media and on a wide range of project types. Raised in LA, she’s had an eclectic career, ranging from classroom teaching to theme park design, and is excited to share her love of creating art with all ages. Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
