Description: Learn the basics of shuttle lace tatting to make bookmarks, jewelry, lace trims, and other items.
Materials Included: Tatting Shuttle, Size 10 Crochet Thread
Instructor: Mallory is a lifelong crafter and historian with a passion for vintage crafts. While getting her history degree in medieval studies, Mallory fell in love with the history of textiles, and along the way picked up a number of traditional textile techniques dating from the Medieval period all the way to the Victorian era. Her specialty is Victorian parlour crafts and she is excited to share this bit of textile history with her students.
Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
