Prerequisite: Beginner Sewing 1 and/or MUST KNOW HOW TO USE A SINGLE NEEDLE DOMESTIC SEWING MACHINE

Description: Learn the professional way to do simple alterations on ready-to-wear clothes. We’ll cover how to hem pants, lengthen or shorten sleeves, and take in side seams. Bring a garment or two that needs some alteration attention for an in-class demonstration.  

Materials Included: All necessary tools and materials

Instructor: Megan Bright and has been sewing as a result of her grandmother’s inspiration, since 2004. She studied apparel design at university and moved to beautiful California in 2017 to pursue work in costume design. Currently, she enjoys teaching, sewing with friends, and working as an alterations specialist for red-carpet events.

Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.

Note: LATE ARRIVALS NOT ADMITTED ONCE CLASS HAS BEGUN
