Description: Embrace the freedom of abstract art and discover how to express emotion and ideas through shape, color, and texture. This engaging class will guide you through the fundamentals of abstract composition, brushwork, paint mediums, and layering techniques while encouraging your personal style to shine. You’ll also have the opportunity to give and receive feedback in a welcoming, safe environment, learning from both the instructor and your fellow students. Whether you’re a curious beginner or an experienced artist, you’ll leave inspired and confident, with your own abstract masterpiece.
Materials Included: All necessary tools and materials.
Instructor: Lenny is a multidisciplinary artist with a BFA in Photography and a BA in Liberal Arts from Parsons School of Design in NYC. He has collaborated with top brands like Netflix, H&M, Burt’s Bees, and the Academy of Motion Pictures, while his fine art focuses on themes of social justice and inclusivity, he is also passionate about education. He teaches art to blind and visually impaired individuals at the Braille Institute, helping students unlock their creative potential through the transformative power of art.
Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
