Fri 4/4 Creative Wellbeing: Vision Board for Wellbeing 6pm
Friday - April 4 - 6:00-8:00pm
Ages: 14+
Description: In this stand-alone workshop, join facilitators from Typewriters Anonymous to create a personal collaged vision board by sourcing images and words from magazines and ephemera to tap into your unique strengths and goals for wellbeing. Research suggests that keeping your vision board close to your desk or in a place you will see often reinforces your goals and may subtly shift the many decisions you make each day. No experience necessary.
No experience required, ages 13+
All Materials Included: Feel free to bring any images or ephemera that have meaning to you.
Instructor: Typewriters Anonymous was founded by Phillip and Elisabeth Nails. They facilitate interactive experiences that provide people with a moment of mindfulness amidst the jubilee of togetherness. Phillip T. Nails (he/him/his) is a performance poet and founding director of Typewriters Anonymous. He holds a certificate in Social Emotional Arts & Healing Facilitation from UCLA’s Arts & Healing Initiative. Elisabeth Nails, MSW, PPSC (she/her) is a program specialist at the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture where she manages Creative Wellbeing, an approach that integrates arts and mental health strategies to support social-emotional development, community connections, and healing from trauma.
Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
Note: LATE ARRIVALS NOT ADMITTED ONCE CLASS HAS BEGUN
Class Refund Policy: Please email remainders.edu@gmail.com with your name and order number at least 48 hours before the class to receive a refund. A 20% cancellation fee applies.
Because we need time to fill vacant spots, there are no refunds with less than 48 hours notice.
