Learn a bit of cloak history and make a traditional cloak cut on a semicircle. Demonstration on how to cut and sew. Examples provided. Handout directions provided. If students provide fabric they could cut theirs out, maybe sew if time allows. Machine experience not necessary unless planning on sewing. A great cloak can be made with just a bit of hand sewing.
