Instructor Julie Williams will introduce you to fast paced, playful techniques and collaborative exercises to make drawing accessible and successful for all students at any skill level. You will be introduced to the cartooning methods of Ivan Brunetti and Lynda Barry designed to access memory, get your hand moving and quickly build drawing confidence. You will learn a five minute daily journal method to build a drawing habit and concentration drawings to calm the mind and lower stress levels. Drawing exercises include Concentration spiral, Contour drawings, Blind drawings, Introduction the Ivan Brunetti style, Attendance Cards, Single panel comics, 5 min Daily journal, Emergency comics, Face Jam, Doodling.
