Description: In this class you will be learning how to measure yourself and put those measurements into a foundational template to use with store bought patterns or create your own patterns. This template can be used to make your own dress form cover.  In this beginning lesson you will be creating a basic bodice pattern. Come dressed in a T-shirt or tank top. This will help in taking measurements. Measurement charts and instructions will be handed out in class.

Materials: All tools and materials included.

Instructor: Dalia Miranda has been sewing since she was a child. She took an interest in costumes and took courses in pattern making at FIT in NYC. She freelances as a seamstress and pattern maker for the cosplay crowd and private clients, and teaches sewing and pattern making to children and adults.

Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
