Sat 6/22 Kids Sewing Machine Basics 1-3pm

Description: This small group session is perfect for young people who have never used a sewing machine or have some sewing machine knowledge. They will learn the basics of the machine, different types of stitches, notions and tools to have on hand and how to use them and make one or more simple projects.

Materials Included: Sewing machines, fabrics and all necessary tools and materials

Instructor: Dalia Miranda has been sewing since she was a child. She took an interest in costumes and took courses in pattern making at FIT in NYC. She freelances as a seamstress and pattern maker for the cosplay crowd and private clients, and teaches sewing and pattern making to children and adults.

Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
